How to add meta tags to your blogspot blog

Adding meta tags is probably one of the most effective ways to get a better rank on Google and other big search engines which are used by millions of people everyday. Follow this quick tutorial on this website and learn how to add meta tags.

1. First of all go to blogspot.com, login and click on the 'design' tab of the blog you wish to use.

2. Click on the 'Edit HTML' tab.

3.  Find this code below (CTRL+F brings up a search window for a quicker search)

                        

                                       <b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>

4. When you have found it, under that code should be this code:

                                       <meta content='DESCRIPTION' name='keywords'/>

                                       <meta content='KEYWORDS' name='keywords'

                                       <meta content='AUTHOR NAME' name='author'/>

                                              

However if you have installed a theme, it might of done if for you so it might be different to the  one above. Remember to replace the words in bold.

5. Click save template then you are done!
